Any suggestions or pics for storing SPT's and other accessories? I would like to mount as much as possible on a wall behind the shopsmith... I prefer to avoid buying the factory mounts if possible, although they do look good.

I'm not sure if this is what you had in mind but this is what I built in my shop to store my SPTs:





I did use the SS mounts, which are a bit expensive but they do work great - it would be easy enough to make something to serve the same purpose. The shelves are tall enough that my two Mark Vs can fit underneath when I'm not using them.

Here's the make-my-own approach I took for mounting bases. Other folks contributed ideas as well.

This is the system I use for a lot of my SPT's. In my case I have 500 set in drill press position so the bottom tubes were unused.... Now they are used and full of tools.

This might give you a few ideas even if you don't go the way I did.

Just to cover another base; the separate carts for each SPT approach worked for me.

These carts are made from 2x4, 3/4 ply and some box store casters. They roll around the shop, out of the way, until needed and then roll over to the Shopsmith.

I store mine this way.

OK, now I feel guilty. I have about 4x the space shown, but less space.

I must say that to me, a planer and a bandsaw have become almost necessities, not just luxuries. Other than that, I think Bill's photo has the essentials pretty much covered.

In my woodworking space, I have an old chest of drawers that is only half filled with valuable woodworking stuff. The other half is still filled with perfectly good shotgun reloading stuff that has gone unused for 25 years. And a shelf unit that neatly stores cans of paint last used when my teenagers were toddlers. Etc. ad infinitum.

So Bill, what would we see if you turned the camera in the other direction?

And Reible, I gotta thank you for at least partially assuaging my guilt, as you pack way more stuff than I do into a limited space.

Kinda looks like this. Or at least it used to. A bit more crowded now with a Jet drum sander and a Delta 46-460 midi lathe and a new and larger workbench.
