Project for Bad Weather

Post by db5 »

You can make these when you can't get in the shop because of bad weather.

I saw my wife tearing pieces of aluminum foil and putting them around the edges of a pie crust. I asked why and she told me it was to keep the crust from burning.

Two pie tins (different sizes), scissors and voila. It works perfectly. Just cut it wide enough to fold the sharp edge down.

Just to make sure I’m following along here…

These are to replace the bits of foil your wife was using and, I assume, might be reusable?

Zat right?

OOOH I think she uses throwaway ones. Where else did he get the 'raw' materials?:)

Remember the weather is ugly, he did not go out and procure them!
