Actually, there are only five(5) bidders and I suspect one of them has a vested interest. If I am wrong, someone please explain 4***u's bidding logic.

It is implausible to me that one with that much experience(400+) would be bidding like a neophyte.dusty wrote:

Be fair now. You gotta add Shopsmith shipping costs.beeg wrote:It sold for $39.00 + $4.00 shipping. From SS + shipping.

There were two bidders that went head to head and I believe both were set for automatic bid. One was 4***u bidding $38 max - he lost. The winner (i***d) had obviously bid $39 or more.
When I sell stuff on eBay, no one ever goes wild with their bidding. If I thought they would, I'd sell everything in the shop and buy new.

I can hear it now
"Honey, you won't believe the deal I got on eBay today. It was tough but I won and saved a ton of money on what it would have cost from Shopsmith. Now I can connect the bandsaw and whenever you need something bansawed we are ready to do. High Five!"
A day without CNN & MSNBC is like a day without anthrax.
HARDLY a ton, looks to me he spent a couple bucks extra.db5 wrote:"saved a ton of money on what it would have cost from Shopsmith."
