As the title said, is it OK to post "anybody have part X for sale?" or "I've got all these parts (list of parts), anyone want them? And better yet, anyone want to trade one or more of these parts for them?" I don't see such posts here. I don't have a lot of stuff so it would not be a flood.
I've got about an extra greenie headstock and base, plus other bits, I think I'll have to part with due to space, and there are a few things I still need to get the stuff I'm keeping up to spec. If I don't make it into a mini or shorty I'll need to find a good home for it and it isn't worth selling. Simply put, a new buyer would need to spend more for the missing parts than they'd spend for a complete unit off craigslist. Someone who already has a bunch of stuff could make use of it better.
Is it OK to post requests/offers for purchase/trade/donation of parts?

Thanks. I will pay l post a description of what I have and what I would like if it turns out I decide i will part with it. I wanted to be sure to respect the rules since this is a Shopsmith sponsored forum and they, well, do sell the same items.

I do not think they want the potential liability problems associated with supporting a trading post for used parts etc. either.
