Smaller Table saw arbor available?

My shopsmith has a fairly large (1 1/4?) arbor for the table saw blade.

Is there a arbor available that fits arbor holes of 5/8 diameter?

I glanced at the shopsmith website, but I could have easily missed it. I want to use a different style blade than what shopsmith has available. I want to cut plastic.

Thanks in advance!

Ok,
I went to order one. The 500 is different than the 505, 510, 520.

I know I do not have a 510 or 520.

What is the difference between the 500 and the 505?

On this page they show inserts.

So, if I read between the lines, if both sides of my insert are rounded, I have a 500. Correct? Which I think they are, but I will verify at the shop today.

A trick i have used in my compound miter saw, is to use a high tooth blade and put it in backwards to cut plastic. I have had pretty good results. (actually used for vinyl siding)

I picked up a new freud plastic blade.

But it doesn't fit my arbor:rolleyes:

so I want to use the Darn thing!!

Sometimes the blade that I have does "OK", but sometimes it grabs the material and takes a chunk out of it. Minimum ruins my cut, maximum, probably not safe.

It is a fairly fine blade, I didn't try it backwards but I guess I just want to spend more money on the adapter. LOL

Since I cut a fair amount of polycarbonate, (more than wood) I am ok with using the proper stuff.

The 505, 510, 520 main tables are the same. The fences and rails vary(505 = 510). A 500 fence has a single 'knurled' knob that tightens the fence to the table/rail.

I do have about a 2.5 inch long arbor that my craftsman dado blade fits that i use on my shopsmith, so one does exist, its a shopsmith part.

Then why do they say the blade arbor is different?

My insert is rounded on both ends, so I am going to order the 500 unit. They state that stock is low. We shall see.
