Seller writes that the band saw has a "6" riser block". What does that mean?

Have the seller send a pic, but I think the message means the seller is using confusing/wrong terminology.
Some band saws are designed to accept an add on riser kit that increases the height capacity of the band saw, i.e. the height of material that can ft between the table and the upper blade guide assembly.
The Shopsmith band saw is not built that way. The height capacity on the Shopsmith band saw is a fixed 6 inches. You can get another few fractions of an inch by filing off some of the upper blade guide assembly. There's a Sawdust Session where Drew shows how to do this on the Shopsmith site. I think there may also be a thread or two here on the Forum that shows what to file off.

Oh, My fault. I should have mentioned that this is a Ridgid saw. And the seller notes that this saw can handle pieces up to 12" thick. So he must be referring to a riser kit as you described it.
Thank you algale.
