10er bench legs
Would anyone want to share the measurements of the steel legs that were available for the 10er? I would have access to a heavy metal brake and was thinking about making my own for a newly acquired 10er. I have tried to make heads or tails to try to find anything on the Yahoo site and gave up.
You're going to need more than just a brake, the ends are welded on.
The base end cap, 2 inches by 18 inches long.
The top end cap, 3.5 inches by 15 inches long
it is 18 inches high.
The major bends will give you the right size so the
top and bottom ends fit. Laying on it's side, it will
look like a weird trapezoidal cake pan. IE, 2 inches by
18 inches on one end, and 3.5 inches by 15 on the
other end, and 18 inches long. (Assuming the cake pan
view) the sides will taper from 2 inches high to 3.5 inches,
at the other end
Use at least 1/16 inch thick stock.

10 ER, stripped down.
Basic 10ER, Parts machine. Will be a semi-dedicated drill-press machine.
10 ER, a "survivor" of the trailer fire, in the back yard, needing restoration. Has a Mk5 headrest. Finally, stripped down.
Numerous parts, for Model 10 stuff. Except for lower saw guard, A and B adapters, I've got it.
Looking for one more, or some 9 inch extension table raisers.

There's a good looking 10ER available locally that I've been eyeing for a wall-mount drill press. I'm very tempted, but haven't pulled the trigger yet partly because it has factory legs that I wouldn't need, and have little space to store.
