Back in March 2011 I posted about some homemade arbors for the 5/8" Shopsmith spindle here:

I wrote up a short version of that post and it has just been published on pg.47 of the Dec.2014/Jan.2015 issue of Machinist's Workshop magazine titled:

Thanks! This is the seventh article of mine that they published. The sixth (about a year ago) was on the cover and the lead off article at the time. This little one is on the last page, so the "thrill" is a bit less, but I still get a kick out of it, as do friends and family.

I, too, sent in an article to Highland Woodworking Online Magazine (not published in print like yours:( ) but it is the second one they have used.

The latest is on my Advent Calendar made last year for the grandchildren.

I submitted three articles to Woodsmith. All three didn't meet their editorial criteria. I was crushed.

Gene, you should keep on trying..........writing is a good hobby. Since you have four times as many posts on here as I do, I'm sure the following is like telling Grandma how to suck eggs:
Before my first article was sent in, I looked back at past articles and could see the style of writing Village Press were using, almost conversational when you read it, so I try to write that way.
