I like the Preserve finish-oil !

I forgot I had some of this Preserve oil in my cabinet:

My neighbor and "wood buddy" came by last week showing me a long-handled platter he'd made for taking breads and pizzas in and out of the oven (he is excellent at bread). He was looking for a finish idea and I loaned him my "Preserve" bottle since it's food-safe. He loved it.

It made me wonder why I've gone off and used smelly, sticky varnishes, Shellawax, and Tru-Oil products so often in the last couple of years. The Preserve finish is easier to handle, doesn't smell, doesn't cause 20 minutes of hand-washing. So I'll be trying the Preserve more often!
