Any insights on where to get tablesaw guards for a 500? I've got another primary tablesaw so can't quite justify the expense of new ones from shopsmith. Haven't seen anything on ebay. (Pretty confusing as to what will and won't work too.)
I also need a jointer guard. I have seen one on ebay but it was pretty expensive too.

EBay was, at one time long long ago, a good place to go to buy parts. It still is but people have become more aware of what their 'junk' is worth and the eBay selling price reflects that. Be prepared to pay the price.
However, I still believe that from time to time you can make some real good deals on eBay. I scan the website regularly and bid on something typically once a week.
