ER10 with LATHE EXTENSION

I stumbled across this photo. NEAT.
Guy modified his ER10 to lathe turn LONG objects.
I know nothing else about it.

This thread shows a picture of one that was listed on eBay for a while What's it good for? , (see the last post on the second page).

Steve (skou) has suggested linking two 10ERs end to end for looong lathe work and I think I saw a picture of that setup but I can't find it.
