Speed Increaser with PowerPro

I just ordered the PowerPro upgrade for my 510 and am wondering if I can still use my speed increaser and even bump the speed up on the increaser. I think the speed increaser is great for under table routing and don't really want to go the double tilt route.

I believe the top speed of the speed increaser is 10K. If used with the powerpro you will need to select the correct speed to run at. I forget the letter on the old dial but you will convert that to rpm and then set the powerpro to that speed.

I'm guess it is due the the selection of the bearings that limits the speed range but there also could be some safety issues???

As said above the Speed increaser is designed for max. speed of 10,000 RPM. If you want to avoid running your PowerPro at less than maximum speed, It is perhaps a good idea to use the speed increaser while running the PowerPro at a lesser speed.

Probably something I'd do if I has a speed increaser.

Just to clarify, my concern is regarding exceeding 10k.

Nothing wrong with using it up to that speed.

Someone with instructions needs to post the max setting on a Mark V. Then you will know the max setting for the power pro.
