Jointer

Post by lerbi »

Dismantled, cleaned, waxed my jointer yesterday. Can anyone help me with how tight the Nut (120377) that fastens to the Table Mount Stud (502884) should be? Obviously, it has to allow for turning of the Adjustment Knob but is strictly a "feels right" adjustment or is there a specific torque setting? Appreciate the help.

Tight enough to stay put, but not so tight the table will not move.

So feels right is a good answer.
