1. If you connect two DC3300's via y pipe, will it result in twice the cfm provided by one DC3300?
2. Does adding a Dust Deputy reduce the cfm of a collection system?
3. Is there a difference in cfm between using the corrugated hose or PVC pipe to construct a DC system?

My observation is that when I tried to put a Dust Deputy in line with my DC3300 that my 42 inch hood was less inflated which I attribute to less CFM.

First question, it should. Make sure your "system" can handle the CFM

Third question: PVC will greatly be more efficient because of the turbulence drag that the corrugated hose creates ...

Before I built my dedicated shop with a Clearvue Max cyclone I had a JDS 1 1/2HP dust collector with a pleated filter and not a filter bag. At one point I added a trash can with a separator lid. That is pretty much like what a Dust Deputy does. I eventually removed it because I thought it affected the efficiency (CFM) of the system.
