I have started on derusting my 10ER I got on Sunday, but have a good ways to go. I wanted to know what size Hex wrenches I will need (looks like at least 3 different sizes), What blade for the table saw do you recommend and I think there is an old book about working with the SS I saw recommended but cannot recall the name of it. I have printed the SS instructions. Thanks

.The hex wrenches you will need are 1/8", 5/32" and 3/16". Preferably T handle and long.
The 10ER takes an 8" table saw blade, I am using a Freud Diablo on mine but haven't used it that much yet.
The book I think you are referring to is Power Tool Woodworking for Everyone by R J DeCristoforo. The 1953 edition published by McGraw Hill is written for the 10ER, all the editions after that are written for the Mark V series. The best place to find it is AbeBooks.com

Personally, I prefer the 'original' "L" shape to the more recently created "T" or loop shaped. Yes they need to be long especially the 3/16" one.

I followed the link to Abe's books, and now I have ANOTHER copy of PTWFE 53 showing up.
Can't complain, it was only $3.50 or so, INCLUDING shipping. Hey, the book is about the
Model 10, and like the 10, they ain't "printin'" any more.
I agree with (as an old friend used to call him) JPeG said, I like the LONG L shaped Allen
wrenches. It is quite difficult to find the original ones, since the short leg is 2 inches long.
Usual (read that as Craftsman) long Allen wrenches, only have the short leg, about 1 inch.
Won't be easy to tighten some things on the spindle.

Basic 10ER, Parts machine. Will be a semi-dedicated drill-press machine.
10 ER, a "survivor" of the trailer fire, in the back yard, needing restoration. Has a Mk5 headrest. Finally, stripped down.
Numerous parts, for Model 10 stuff. Except for lower saw guard, A and B adapters, I've got it.
Looking for one more, or some 9 inch extension table raisers.
