Shopsmith 10ER--- Q1

Post by oldiron »

Hi Folks,

I'm restoring a 10ER. All of the major parts(carriage, headrest, base plate, etc...)have the letter (Q) along with the number (1) stamped in the castings. Does anyone know what this stands for?

Thanks,
Mike

I do not know, but my guess would be it indicates which foundry cast them.
