Surgery Tomorrow ...

Post by rjent »

For those inclined, I would appreciate some prayers for tomorrow. I am scheduled for a simple (open) surgery tomorrow. They are going to remove most of the prostate. As the DR says, scooping out an orange. If everything goes right, I will be back home in a week or so. I have been in the hospital for observation for 2 days now, and have oped for the surgery tomorrow.

Thanks in advance!

Glad to pray.

Father I ask in the name of Jesus that you guide the surgeons’ hands and anoint our brother with a quick and total recovery. Amen

Our prayers are with you, Dick. I know what you are going through. I have had some of the same pre-op briefings myself. I may be in the same boat next week.

I think when they do that operation, as part of recovery, flirting with the nurses is not only suggested but required (though your hospital may have other rules! :D )

May everything turn out the best and you are quickly making shavings and saw dust!!
Be well

If the docs do as good a job of restoring your hardware as you did your 10ER's, you will be better than new in short order! (And your machinery is just about the same vintage, if memory serves.)

By freak coincidence, I am sitting in an exam room right now for my own annual PM. I always hate the prostrate exam part, but somehow I just didn't mind it as much this year.

Get well soon!
