Just got my planer

So I just picked up a brand new pro planer for $400, and I mean Brand new. That combined with my 520, strip sander, belt sander, teal scroll saw, band saw with the cast table, jointer with power stand, and biscuit cutter bring my set up to $1535. My first project was a storage cabinet for my extras. Next a coffee table I think.
The funny part is I never intended for an all shopsmith shop, but wow look at the value in it. I think I did well gathering up my shop pieces at a decent price. So now it is time to make some real dust. Its going to be a fun summer.

My wife doesn't get the machinery, either. But I predict that as you start producing some nice home upgrades, she will come around. At this point, my woodworking honey-do list is beginning to outstrip my spare time (for years to come ).

Spare time? I trade sleep for shop time. My 2 and 4 year old keep me busy enough.

Been there, and done that. Had three in diapers at the same time. Fast forward 15 years, and things have changed. Now I'm teaching two to drive, spending most weekends at basketball and volleyball tournaments, and tutoring pre-Calc.

I thought I had mastered mathematics when I was in school; even in college. It wasn't until I got into the engineering lab on a daily basis that I discovered that good grades did not indicate how well I had or had not mastered mathematics.

Even now, in retirement, I am challenged. I spend idle time playing with "mathematics".

I spend a lot of time in doctors offices or waiting for the other half. This is a link to my pass time tools.

I did take a look. Read very carefully. Some semantics used are different from mine and possibly yours.
