Just want to pass on a smile - a BIG one. :) Our first Great Grandaughter, Tory, arrived here on July 7.
7 lbs 14 oz.

If you remember my rocking chair thread - that's who it was for. Well - really for Tory's mother and her.

Seems to me the new mother deserves the 'congratulations', but enjoy them anyway paw paw paw. :cool:

So this is the first. That mean more chairs to come? :D

My wife was oohing and aaahing over the baby, and noted that she's a big 'un .. almost eight pounds. Are you sure that chair is strong enough? ;) :D :)

You are very lucky, I can't even get my kids married, muck less become a grandparent. Enjoy!

We have been very lucky. We have 4 grown kids, 12 grand-kids and 19 great-grand-kids. The oldest great-grand-kid is 16.
I even remember some of their names... :D :D :D
I've gotten kind of attached to a few of them over the years. :)
