I am loving these!

What is under all of this apparatus?

Another 3-D cross. This cross, will be donated to a new and budding church :)

Incidentally, I was able to get two clamps with hard maple shafts (off of a local craigslist ad) for only $30... score :eek:

You got a good deal for sure. I hope you didn't use your MV table for assembly. I wouldn't enjoy cleaning up glue squeeze out. :(

Are the cauls(shaft) curved slightly(fatter in the middle)?

Yes, but I had a layer of wax paper directly under the glued surfaces.

Yes they have a very slight taper.
The horizontal bar of the cross isn't a full 48 inches, so I added a piece of scrap at both ends, so I could use the clamp :cool:
