I didn't know that Shopsmith had ever sold a portable "lunchbox" style planer. But apparently they did.
Does anyone know anything about these? According to the CL ad, it's a pretty heavy beast.

I've never seen one like that. It does look similar to the generic off-brand ones being sold elsewhere, but I would have to get a close look to know just how similar or different it might be.

Aha! So it's the old-style Jet JWP-12, private-labeled. I just checked ereplacementparts.com, and they still sell most of the parts.
