what did I do?
I was typing a response on the forum last night and some how with a fat finger hit a key or some thing on my lab top, and everything on the SS forum turni=ed miniature. How do I restore to normal size?

Greenie, Grayling, SS stand alone BS and BS SPT, jointer and belt sander, 3 Ers with Speed Changers. I think those 3 cover my ER needs, and space for them.

Using Windows 8.1?
Try re-booting. If that doesn't work ---
go to upper or lower right hand corner to bring charms. Click on Settings. Click on Personalization. Click on Display. Pick your size. Click on Reply button.

What browser are you using? I use Firefox, and Ctrl+ and Ctrl- change size of fonts. Most browsers have a keystroke combination that does the same thing.

I didn't know that, but it sure does. It appears to be a keyboard version of the scroll-wheel zoom feature, which I use all the time.garys wrote:What browser are you using? I use Firefox, and Ctrl+ and Ctrl- change size of fonts. Most browsers have a keystroke combination that does the same thing.
For those who haven't discovered the scroll-wheel zoom, it's mighty handy. If you have a mouse with a wheel, just turn the wheel while holding down the Ctrl key. It's a quick & easy way to zoom in/out, and works with most any Windows application. Works great for inspecting photos up-close.
Re: what did I do?
CTRL ZERO should bring it back to normal size.
SS 500(09/1980), DC3300, jointer, bandsaw, belt sander, Strip Sander, drum sanders, molder, dado, biscuit joiner, universal lathe tool rest, Oneway talon chuck, router bits & chucks and a De Walt 735 planer,a #5,#6, block planes. ALL in a 100 square foot shop.

Buckeye, tried your thing about enlarging pics, works nice! I dont know if it is Windows 8 or the lap tops abbreviated key board, and fat hands on the LTs little mouse pad, which I wish I could disconnect since I use a plugged in mouse, use to a PC key board and 7 Home Premium.

Re: what did I do?
Check the driver options for mouse in control panel. Mine has a box to disable touch pad when external mouse is active.

Re: what did I do?
On a Dell laptop press and hold function key Fn and pressing F3 will toggle touch pad on and off.
