Bondic, anyone try it?

Post by reible »

Just wondering if anyone has got this kit to see how it works. If you haven't seen the commercials then take a look here:

http://www.amazon.com/Bondic-Anything-W ... rds=bondic

Anyway I broke a magnifier head strap right by the hinge and I don't see a good way to repair it at the moment. If this stuff would work it would be great but.......

They make it sound great but is it worth the money?

Our dog broke my wife's designer eye glasses and broke the bow right where it bends as she puts them on. We both thought they were destroyed.

I happened upon Bondic through a tech site add, did a little research, and then decided if it did not work I might be able to use it elsewhere. I had no real expectations that it would work for fixing the glasses, but after one failed attempt, the second attempt is still holding them! It is very difficult to see the repair due to the clear bonding material.

Found a place with a better price so I have some on order.

BTW this is what the damage looks like. As you can see it has been repaired before so maybe it is time to get a new pair.... but if I can get it to work again for a while then it is better then just trashing it.
