This chuck looks like the old/standard 1/2", with an adapter for something. A brand new 1/2" sell for $40.49 and a key for $3.48 plus shipping.
Brand new Heavy Duty? NO!

Really? Bet it weighs almost half again as much(not including the 'adapter').charlese wrote:This chuck looks like the old/standard 1/2", with an adapter for something. A brand new 1/2" sell for $40.49 and a key for $3.48 plus shipping.

Don't really see a need for something like that. It will NOT work with the mortise attachment. The newer Shopsmith chucks are a real pain to use with the mortise attachment. I keep an old style just in case.
