SHOP SMITH MITER GAGE FOR TABLE SAW

Just purchased a mark v and it is missing the adjustable miter gage. Any one have and extra one to that is in great condition?

If not, there is e-bay. Be aware the 505-520 bar is different from earlier versions(5,500).

Can not the later one work on the 500 by removing the "T" washer? They are the same width.

Yes they will work interchangeably. I modified the washer by cutting the two edges off but by rotating it 90 degrees the function returns.

The only issue I recall is that the older models had thin plastic inserts which did not work well with the ribbed table so that part was changed to a much wider nut sort of arrangement.
