Pizza Stone Advice
I have a ceramic pizza stone that fit my previous toaster/oven. I need to cut it down to fit my new one. If I score it on both sides with an abrasive wheel can I break it on the score line? Other suggestions?

Know anyone with a tile saw? I think you would be better off that way.

Harbor freight tools has a right angle grinder that comes with a cutoff wheel similar to the one in the photo for about $19 bucks. Even using it only once it will save a few bucks. Good excuse to buy another tool.

Pizza stones are pretty porous stones, I would not snap and score it unless I could sandwich it between 2 boards at the score line especially on that one side where you are only taking about 3/4" off. I would use the grinding wheel to cut all the way thru.

Got a circular saw? This should make short work of it.
I used a blade like that to cut away masonry for mounting my mantel beam. Cuts like buttah.

JPG ya a wet tile saw would be perfect,as i did it for 20+ years, but not in the $ program unless he has a buddy with one.
BD has it right a dry diamond wheel, cut allot of tile on my 4.5"grinder for toilet rings.
