This is a wonderful forum not just for Shop Smith owners or potential ones but for wood working in general, no matter what you used or combo of machines to achieve it, but usually a shop smith was involved in it some where.

Greenie, Grayling, SS stand alone BS and BS SPT, jointer and belt sander, 3 Ers with Speed Changers. I think those 3 cover my ER needs, and space for them. :)

Sorry, I've read this several times and I really don't know what you are asking about or how it might relate to your example.
Gale's Law: The bigger the woodworking project, the less the mistakes show in any photo taken far enough away to show the entire project!
