Greenie, Grayling, SS stand alone BS and BS SPT, jointer and belt sander, 3 Ers with Speed Changers. I think those 3 cover my ER needs, and space for them.

The ad said Bellevue, Nebraska.

Re: Shopsmith Woodworking Center Ad
That Bellevue is a suburb of Seattle, King 5 is a Seattle, Washington station.

Oops. Misinterpreted N.E. in the ad. Does N.E. mean North East Seattle?

It's been a long time since I have been down that way. Looking on the map, Bellevue is east of Seattle across Lake Washington.algale wrote:Oops. Misinterpreted N.E. in the ad. Does N.E. mean North East Seattle?
The N.E. is part of the street address so it would be in the North East quadrant of Bellevue.

Re: Shopsmith Woodworking Center Ad
They use to have a store in Grand Rapids Mich was my favorite store. Went to it every time I was in town and spent a lot of dollars there. But they closed it many years ago
Re: Shopsmith Woodworking Center Ad
The N E was the quadrant of the county in this North East King county. They moved the store to Tukwilo that's where I bought a new 510 in about 1987. I really miss the Shopsmith stores! I live in Indiana again and when John was just getting it going again back in the 1970's my 1954 Mark 5 broke the gilmer belt and I went over to the plant and John gave me tour and gave me a gilmer belt with instructions on how to install it. I have owned 6 shopsmiths over the years and currently own a 1957 mark 5. I can't think of any other piece of equipment that you can get parts and support on a 60 year old tool from the manufacturer. I have owned all sorts of wood working equipment in my 70 years but never encountered anything with the precision and quality of my shopsmith. With everything else being made in China it's really nice to have this company serving the woodworking folks. I love Shopsmith!
