D J Marks Large Turning

I subscribe to D. J Marks' news letter. Some of you may remember him from his show on PBS called Woodworks. I though some of the turners here would enjoy this.

In his latest news letter he says he has been invited to demonstrate at the American Association of Woodturners 30th annual symposium to be held in Georgia this coming June. He has a 30" tall hollow vessel he has been working on for a while that he wants to show. It has been stored in a 55 gal drum of water to keep it from cracking.

I can't wait to see it when it is done.
