Thank you. I wanted to make sure that I was able to get the full height out of my router and even though the Greenie table is a little small, I think it will work just fine. I think I am going to stop at the Dollar Store and pick up a couple of cutting boards so I can make the throat plates. I am also trying to decide how I want to design the fence so I have dust collection capabilities as well. While I was pondering the whole fence design yesterday I looked at my shaper fence and I think I will incorporate it into the design. More to come...

When I saw yours, I thought immediately of doing similar and using the shaper fence. I have the fence for the 500 table which I otherwise don't use. I've been pondering for a while what to do about a router table (buy, build, get the double tilt or the speed increaser and use SS, etc. ). I'm going to have to look at this more closely, maybe find a way to throw it on the end of a Shop Deputy.

Since I do not have a Shop Deputy I am going to have to figure out where to store this once its complete. I guess this will be even more motivation for my to build my SPT storage!

What bit did you use for the milling?

Appears to be an end mill.

Like JPG said, it was an end mill; now I am looking for a ball end mill so I can curve the edges to prevent cracking.
