Well I picked up a Grayling with a BS a month ago, and did a SS bearing upgrade on it with just cool blocks, JB those Carter bearings are a too rich for my blood, and I dont use a BS that often.
I have a new Olson 3/8 about 4TPI or maybe 6 at the most, cutting some Hard Maple 3" thick, a Tuna can diam, about 2.5"-3" , what ever works to draw it. For a radius that tight,, well it had no problemo a bit tight for a 3/8, 1/4 would have been better blade, had to do some relief cuts on the curve but all in all no strain or pain on the BS.

The Greatness officially starts
Greenie, Grayling, SS stand alone BS and BS SPT, jointer and belt sander, 3 Ers with Speed Changers. I think those 3 cover my ER needs, and space for them.
