Spiral scroll saw blades?

Between Do-It Best, Home Depot, Lowe's, and Harbor Freight, and Walmart, I found a disappointingly limited variety of scroll saw blades. None of which included the spiral ones. Is there a store (physical location... Not online) that you get yours from? Or can I really only order them online?

Do you have a Woodcraft store nearby?

When I have to, I get mine from Woodcraft, otherwise I order from Flying Dutchman.

If you have a Hobby Lobby, hobby store or model shop nearby they might. The HobbyLobby here has some spiral cut blades but are $9 a package and selection was limited to 3 sizes. If you have an immediate need those stores might be a chance to get something, though maybe not exactly what you want.
My closest Woodcraft is the same one as moggymatt but I have to drive 300+ miles to get there :( so everything like that, I order on line and wait......
Good Luck

Be well,
Ben

Great suggestions! Obviously two I should have thought of. I went with the stores I frequently visit and those didn't even cross my mind. I'll try hobby lobby first. Should be cheaper there.

Well, Hobby Lobby was a bust. Surprisingly the prices at Woodcraft weren't too bad.

I figured I'd have more local emergency options for that blade.

IIRC, I bought some at Rockler. If you need more for the future,,as moggymat said, go with Flying Dutchman. Better pricing and better quality.

I think if you are looking for a local emergency option you are just not keeping enough blades on hand. :) My wife does a lot of scroll sawing and blade breakage is part of that process. When she gets down to the last dozen of any size blade she uses she orders more. The heavily used sizes get ordered in the 3 to 4 dozen range at a time.

Usually order Flying Dutchman.

Second the flying Dutchman option. I have a small tub for blades and simply keep a ton on hand as some projects I have had has run through as many as 2 dozen blades (granted it was like 28 hours of actual run time).

Yet I shutter at the spiral blade need. I despise spirals as they break nearly 10x faster than straight blades. But, they do have their uses when necessary. I just can't believe how some people use them for ALL operations, I have yet to see a clean cutting spiral as compared to a nice straight blade.
