Mystery parts for inherited shopsmith

I recently inherited a 1976 ShopSmith Mark V 500 from my grandfather. He passed away 22 years ago and my father inherited the ShopSmith at that time. I was essentially abused and neglected until his death last fall. My brother packed up the ShopSmith and brought it to me mostly disassembled. I have finished rebuilding the headstock and removing the rust and lubricating everything (quill was locked up when I got it as was the sheave on the motor). I have gone through the many boxes of parts and have identified everything except what is in this picture. Looking for a little help. It is possible that some of these parts have nothing to do with the ShopSmith.

Indeed, what IS in the picture?



Yah posting pix here can be a bit confusing. They cannot be larger than either 2050 wide or 1180 high.


Or more to the point, where is the picture?

Oops, finally manipulated the image enough to get it to post.

In the far upper left is a front table extension for a model 500.
Topcenter looks like some sort of tubing bender. Not associated with Shopsmith.
Two items that resemble question marks appear to be wrenches used in some lathe chucks. They may also be called Tommy Bars.
The 4 small quarter circle pieces appear to be jaws for a lathe chuck. Maybe.
Lower left looks like the bracket that goes on the speed reducer but I would have to look at mine to be sure.
Don't know about the rest.

PS the lower left is not the lower bracket for the speed reducer. Just looked.

Thanks for that info. This ShopSmith was moved twice by people that know even less about woodworking than me. I've always wanted to get into woodworking but was scared off by the high cost of entry.

I have all the receipts from everything my grandfather ever bought for this. Along the way a dust collector, planer, jointer, and most of the lathe duplicator seem to have gone missing. :-( I replaced the jointer and dust collector, but not the rest as of yet. I have some end tables my grandfather made for me on the SS from wood from his back yard that were damaged in a move. Hoping to use the SS to repair the damaged parts as one of my first projects.

The items below the tubing bender are one of the collets for a Sorby Precision chuck, the items next to it are the bars to tighten the Sorby chuck.

Thanks. Looking at pictures of these chucks I seem to be missing the rest of it. Guess that happens when things are moved multiple times.

The item on the right is a Rip Straight table saw ripping guide or possibly another brand of the same thing. I believe the Rip Straight although not Shopsmith can be used with the SS. The bottom center is a cover from the right side of a SS plainer.
