So I'm walking the aisles of my Menard's store when I came upon this:
I guess someone figured this was cool and didn't tell me. Don't really need one and didn't buy one but thought I'd share with anyone who was as clueless as I was.

Greenie, Grayling, SS stand alone BS and BS SPT, jointer and belt sander, 3 Ers with Speed Changers. I think those 3 cover my ER needs, and space for them.

Either split the log.

When I got back home I looked them up and found they have been around, just not where I have been. Lots of variations but the ones I looked at have been "heat treated" so I guess that means no bugs and no drying needed.
If I weren't so cheap I would have picked one up to stick in our fire pit to try out.
I can see having one and using it say on the beach at Little Girls Point up in the UP on a summers night. Seeing the trillions of stars including Milky Way with a log fire burning........ just doesn't get any better then that to make you feel inconsequential and tiny. It is even more clear on cold days but not anywhere as comfortable to do.

Totally agree Ed, that Milky Way is some thing to see, only a few times when I was in Ontario in the fall. Come on Ed, the tool miester, 10 bucks, I will loan it to you at 0%. I have thought of buying one just to try it, but no save place to burn it.
I did some nive Prime Day shopping, one was an Incra miter gauge set up, the other was a MLCS coping sled for the router table and a few misc things.
