I got it JPG

Post by ERLover »

Skip is doing a 6" HS pulley, you did the math, 4/6 reduction in speed, did not the nuns teach you in math/fractions? that is 2/3rds!!!! Based on that and the SC high end I have just around 900 rpm for high end speed, plenty enough for drilling, and at the low end for large Fostner Bits in the 200rpm+range :)
Thanks :D

Greenie, Grayling, SS stand alone BS and BS SPT, jointer and belt sander, 3 Ers with Speed Changers. I think those 3 cover my ER needs, and space for them. :)

By stating "4/6", I eliminated the need to explain from whence the fraction came from since we were dealing with 4" and 6" pulleys. :p

I guess 1066 is 'around' 900. ;)

Just got back from a very short trip to SW WI - hot/humid/ torrential rain.

Went to a buffet type function - I cannot believe I drove all the way to WI to attend and 'they' did not have butter available for mashed taters etc.. At a 'country club' no less!
