As a present for the father of the bride for last weekends wedding my daughter and now son in law gave me a wooden watch ! The body of the watch and the band links are made of wood. Not sure what species it is very cool. It is light as a feather.

That is pretty interesting. I am sort of a watch horse and my most used watch is a Swiss made Waltham chronograph that my wife bought for me in the early 70's. I have used it for fuel burn timing on airplanes, racetrack timing on my racing ops of the 80's, and now glue up times in woodworking

A beautiful and thoughtful gift!!!!! When I retired I gave up watches, I like my clocks in the house, otherwise I have no use for time pieces. I have always been a punctual person. I can replace most things but not time, so I respect others time for the same reason.
