Quill return spring
Just recently tore down the headstock on my 1955 Mark V. Every thing inside looks pretty good but I can't figure out how to reset the quill return spring. I'm sure someone has answered this before, but I could sure use some help getting this squared away. I pretty much have every thing else figured out. Help!

Re: Quill return spring
Assuming the spring is still connected, prior to installing the quill I believe you preload the tension by turning the quill handel 3 1/2 turns. Then install the quill. Others will correct me (quickly) if i am wrong!
