Then you will most likely want to get this coupon for a free hat:

Just a reminder that this is happening this weekend.

We are still working out details but I hope both of my boys will attend, and perhaps a couple of grandchildren......... anyway we might make it on Sat. at about noon. So if you want to avoid being there when I am now you can make your plans.......

I'm interested in knowing who is doing the demo and what their special pricing is, like is the same as Lowe's or what?????

My two sons and two of my grandchildren joined me for the demo. When we got there they were in process and had a good crowd of about 16 people. Again most were shopsmith owners. Dave was doing the demoing and he had a new person with him, sorry I forgot his name, should have written it down..... Anyway I'm guessing he is in training.

The store people were not involved and I didn't get a chance to talk shop to find out just what the relationship with this woodcraft store is. Dave was busy trying to sell things so I didn't want to interrupter with such questions.

It was busy, much more then most of the demos I've been to in the last couple of year. I hope that translated to some sales. And this was more of a sale on the system then just the powerpro, they talked about upgrades from the 500 to 520 etc. Maybe that was because of the large number of owners at this demo????

I did get a price list but I have nothing to compare it with. The flyer said 10% off on all accessories and it has both shopsmith and woodcraft part numbers. I tried the numbers on the woodcraft website but they don't work. Maybe they are just for the demo days or maybe not set up yet.

I didn't keep a sheet from the last lowes demo I was at, in fact I don't think I got one. As an example the powerpro diy is listed as $1689.00 plus $138.23 shipping or $1827.23 but for the demo it was $1658.33 shipped, base price $1520.10. Of course here in IL you need to add the sales tax........

Anyone have a current Lowe's demo price sheet to compare with?

I did get my hat.

Ed,

Yeah, I got one from the demo in Mesa this past weekend. I'll take a picture of it when I get home and post it up here.
