I clean my vent hood annually on a cold day. It's always been a hassle so I skipped some years. Since I got a heat gun it is quick and easy.
Just wipe clean with paper towels or napkins.

- I could have wiped the vanes with a Q tip or even a paper napkin but just skipped it this year.
