Anyone having site problems tonight ... ok this morning

Post by everettdavis »

I click on something and nothing happens or it takes minutes but only in the forums. I open up another browsing tab and go to other sites and they seem fine so it seems site related.

calling it a night

The system has been slow tonight but with patience it seems to work.

Over the last several weeks, I have often noticed that the Forum has been very, very slow to connect in the evenings.

If slow connection "in the evenings" is the issue, disregard my previous comment. The fact is, I hardly ever connect "in the evening". I am usually already connected thus I disconnect in the evenings.

As stated earlier though, the system has been a bit slow.

I was feeling sorry for myself. I have had a viral infection for three weeks now and sleep is getting hard to come by.

Prior to concluding a viral infection, I have had an EKG, a chest xray, evaluated by a complete blood panel, an echo, been hydrated by drip, sucked on cough drops, eat very little, ,sleep very little, drink water til it oozes, ran up an $18,000 hospital bill (thankfully it was by insurance overed).

I feel part(small part) of your 'pain'. Funky past two weeks - cough/throat crap and just feeling lousy. Then last weekend SHMBO got further down than I including a fever. She is getting back to 'typical'. Dr appointments for us both Fri. Hospitals avoided like the plague.!!!

Hope you get back to normal soon!!!!!!!!! Lack of rest makes one cranky! :)

Must be the time of year, I've been fighting a cold or something on and off for the last couple of weeks myself. Just when I think its over and have a good day or two it comes back. Not going to the DR. for that but I do wish it would just go away.

Speaking of hospital stays, one of my brothers was feeling dizzy and finally when to the hospital, spent two days and racked up a $30K bill and they never did figure out what was up. He's feeling better but they want him to go to another place for more tests........ not sure he needs it.

If it were not for insurance I know I'd be in the poor house with the couple of things I've had to have done.

You could look at this way without insurance none of could pay those horrendous hospital bills. It would be useless to charge that much so they would charge a lot less. Or at least cheaper ways to do things.
I compared the cost of my birth $18 to the cost of my Great Grandson $8500 and say wow!
I think the actual doctor bill was $3 bucks with $15 going to the hospital. Back then they kept moms about 3 days. My granddaughtered went in at about 6 delivered at about 8 pm and was home the next day by lunch. So her bill was for less than a full day.
