Mark V connecting to a bandsaw
I have a Mark V 1982 and have purchased a 1980 bandsaw. When trying to connect the power coupler it is out of line east and west, north and south I can align. Is there a way to adjust the east west alignment? It is off about a quarter inch.

If you have the eccentric mounting posts, they can allow that front-rear adjustment.
If you have the straight mounting posts, the bench tube mounting bolts can be loosened and the entire left end rotated to align.
FWIW, 1/4" is not terribly excessive.

Sounds like the legs may not be installed squarely to the way tubes. If that is the case, moving the aux. table to that side and loosening the bolts that secure the bench tubes may allow you to adjust the alignment. Here is a link to prior thread on aligning the bench and way tubes: http://www.shopsmith.com/ss_forum/viewt ... #post41342 .
