As many of you know (if not all of you), I am preparing to move. It won't be a long move. Only about 40 miles to the other side of town. While preparing for this move, I have been stewing about how to relocate all of my saw blades. The cost to replace them would not constitute a fortune by any stretch of the imagination but I don't want to replace them at any cost.

With this in mind, I had what I now believe is going to be a good solution. Twelve pieces of card board and two conical sanding disks and two 12"x12" boxes from U-Haul make a great carrier.

Just remember to take the saw blades off before you try to use the conical disk!

When I made a long distance move years ago, I used some scrap wood to make a solid box and put a dowel in the center and placed my blades through the dowel with something in between if I didn't have a blade carton. I did a few other wooden boxes for tools so that I didn't waste the wood that I did not want to take with me. The tools were well protected, and I still have all the boxes after about 17 years. In fact some of my blades are still in the blade box.
