510 Table Alignment Issue

I have no problem getting table parallel with miter slot or saw blade.
I am having a problem getting the fence 90 degrees to the table. There seems to be no adjustment. Any one have any answers? Getting the fence square to the table. Wondering if drilling out the holes where tubes attache on both ends (6 holes on main table) and canting the tubes is the only way?

The miter gauge slot IS the reference for the table parallel to the blade.

Fence square? Which direction? Parallel with the miter gauge slot is adjustable.

Vertical to the table top surface? No.

Square is typically a miter gauge adjustment.

BTW which 510 version do you have?

Mike, I checked and unless I am incorrect it does not show adjustment for making the 510 fence square to the table. Only shows how to adust the fence parallel to miter slot and saw blade etc. Page 21 figures 72 ect.
The fence must be be square to the table and seems to be at least .010 gap.

yes 90 degrees to the table to fence. Put a square on table and other end on fence and there is a gap. Seems there should be some adjustment to be attained.

I would not be concerned with a 0.010 gap top to bottom on the rip fence.

Make sure there are no burrs/dings on the fence base where it rests on the rail.

I am a tool and die man myself, however, I sold a 510 to and accountant and he found it out not me. Guess we both got shook up for nothing LOL. Thanks for the responses.

If it is the newer version with kep nuts, loosening the nuts and biasing the rail may alter the gap.
