The Cows are Comming Home

Post by jsburger »

The cows are going to winter and calve in the spring behind the shop again this year. Last year they would bring the hay 6 bales at a time throughout the winter. The heard got 2 bales a day. By spring the road was so tore up the truck they brought the hay with got stuck in the mud. This year they have pre-positioned a winters worth of hay. Now they just have to come every day with the front end loader with the long forks to take the bales out in the pasture.
