Need information on Strip Sander Idlers and Wheel Assemblies

I have read everything I can find so far in the Forums regarding Strip Sanders.

I am trying to document them as best I can allowing for the changes made in the idlers from bushings to later bearings.

In one post a member had polyurethane idlers with ball bearings fabricated for his.

Shopsmith sells the parts today as assemblies.

Has anyone actually removed and replaced the bearings on a Strip Sander?

Any information would be helpful.
