Finally, a Fire Truck!

Post by john »

Some of you may remember I started making a fire truck back in early spring. Well the fire truck was finished in April but in reducing the scale, I forgot to reduce the width of the ladders so they got hung up on the rear fenders.:( No woodworking in summer, so it fell to the fall to repair my error.

This will be one of several vehicles donated as Christmas gifts for children.

Thanks for all the positive comments!

Not too much going on in the shop these days though I tried to make a playing card holder for an eldrly member of my dear wife's card group. Apparently I made the slots at too much of an angle so the player next to her could see her cards. Oh Well, back to the drawing board!

Have Fun and work safely. :)
