My 10er power switch broke and am i able to use a house light switch in a metal box?

You could but why? Just go to an electrical supply store an ask for a double pole single throw toggle switch that is rated for a motor.

Oh thats it? I didnt know if it was something special or not and was needing to get back up and running asap and cant wait for mail delivery this time of the year. Pen orders are FLYING in for christmas. Thank you!

Most any good hardware store will stock them. Should be less than ten bucks.

I replaced one of my 10ER switches with this:

Very happy with it. I believe he is a member here. I like the military style safety cover. I will probably replace all of my 10ER switches with them as I can get to them ....
