Shopsmith sharpening stones

Post by gsmyth »

Anybody know anything about this Shopsmith sharpening stone set? Part # BA1250. I can't find anything on it. Would like to know if they are oil or water stones, and especially what grits the stones are. Thanks.

I would guess they're oil stones. I have no idea what grit.

That would be a good guess since that is basically what the box says. :D

I did not 'see' Arkansas on it. assuming it be correct, they be oil stones. Not sure the darker one came from the Arkansas hills.
