One of my SSs is outfitted with a Jointech Saw Train. That unit is used for ripping and routering only. I've been getting by (barely) with roller stands.
After some serious cogitating, I think I have a plan for an out feed table to serve the saw and the router table.

With the projects on the bench and, all we've got going on this summer (trips to AK, MO, WY, and, new grand..something... in April) the table will likely not be completed till September. But, I plan to document the build with pictures.

My total lack of engineering expertise and foresight should provide a few laughs and considerable head shaking. Stay tuned. It's gonna be a fun ride.

The outfeed table that I now rely on is the fourth iteration and I have plans for at least one more. Some projects just never make maturity.

Most of my frustrations came when I tried to use the outfeed table with the main table tilted.

Well, Dusty. That won't be a problem. With the Jointech on it, table tilt is impossible.

Therein would be the problem for me. I use the Mark V with table tilted quite frequently.

I saw this on eBay awhile back and thought it was an interesting idea. The person was selling some of the parts used to make it. It is for the 510 and 520 table systems and only required adding a short tube in the bottom of the back table post as the only modification to the Shopsmith.
It uses this type of hardware to provide the ability to swivel.
Since it is only attached to the table system it is set once made. Height and table angle changes follow changing the table itself.

My only concern is the weight supported solely on the back of table system.

What is interesting to me is that looks very much like my outfeed table. Maybe I should have marketed mine.

As for your concern about weight I would say nothing to worry about. I use mine on a very regular basis.

This just one of several threads or posts that I have been a contributor to. In one of those (which I have not yet located), I posted detailed descriptions of the parts used (some were purchase items).

I like it, yours seem a little simpler and the parts would be easier to find. More common parts like the PVC and less specialty parts.

Right now I use the floating tables (I have 4) and the Shopsmith brackets along with the tubes & legs to make my out feed table.
