bandsaw tension indicator scale problem

Post by mikeb »

I have just purchased a older Mark V and am new to Shopsmith. When I adjust the tension on the bandsaw the tension on the wheel changes but no change is shown on the indicator scale. What might be the issue?

Give this old thread a read, it is about bearings but explains pretty much what your asking in the process, has some good pics, closeups etc...
